Diabetes is a medical condition that today has become challenge for around more than 1 million people of United States of America. Most people of USA are afraid of the signs of diabetes type 1. It is an autoimmune disorder in which the body starts to attack the pancreatic cells. This results in decrease in the secretion of insulin. Insufficiency of insulin further crops up some unusual signs of diabetes.
The cause behind this abnormal function of autoimmune system is still unknown. There are many theories that explain this abnormal behavior of autoimmune cells. Some say that it is because of the production of antibodies because of excessive proteins, vitamin D and antibiotics.
Though none of these theories is proved so the basic cause of type 1 diabetes is still to be discovered. Whatever the cause is; the moment the body stops to produce enough insulin the glucose starts to pile up in the bloodstream. The high levels of glucose in the blood give different signals to the body. These signals are termed signs of diabetes type 1.
The earliest diabetic symptoms are excessive thirst, increased hunger especially after eating, unexplained and sudden weight loss and frequent urination. Here are some of those signs of diabetes type 1 that can be easily identified.
Sudden Weight Loss: It is the loss of the body fat that comes into place as the cells are unable to produce energy. The body then has to use the reserves of fats for the production of energy. Sometimes the person also starts to lose weight because of dehydration.
Frequent Urination: The diabetes type 1 causes the pancreas to lose its power of producing insulin. The result is the glycogen which has been extracted from the absorbed food is stored in the cells of blood and not converted there into energy. The stock in the blood cells is not used which demands excessive urination to go through off.
Tiredness or Fatigue: A diabetic person feels tired or fatigued which is uncommon. This occurs because the carbohydrate content of the consumed food is not properly absorbed by the cells for energy conversion. This also cause the total system to collapse; which is the classical sign of diabetes type.
